Since we first aired our new commercials more than a month ago, we’ve received a lot of questions about the voice in the Esurance commercial, the Esurance commercial song, and yes, even the Esurance talking dog.

Who is the Esurance talking dog?

The talking dog in the Esurance commercial is none other than Clark Griswold dog, the famous 2-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix who stars in the “Ultimate Dog Tease” video on YouTube.

At more than 89 million views (and counting), the talking dog video featuring bacon-hungry Clark was the second most-watched video on YouTube in 2011.
